This is a really cute little place to stay. The river is very peaceful and the pool is wonderful.
We've stayed a lot of different places in the area, and this was by far our favorite! Comfortable bed and seating areas, gorgeous property, and the pool was a very nice bonus to break up a long roadtrip. They thought of all the little things--the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a simple meal, it was easy to charge phones next to the bed, separate towels for shower and pool (and enough hooks to hang them all). We'll definitely stay again if it's available on future roadtrips.
Loved our stay
My partner and I took our little chihuahua (additional fee) and stayed here overnight. The backyard and its scenery was so surreal! We didn’t get to experience too much of this place since we were mainly out and about which is unfortunate because we really wanted to use the hot tub and just be in that backyard more. The hot tub wasn’t useable, it said if the hot tub is 104 degrees then don’t use it and it was. Something had to be replaced but it was fine since there was also a well maintained pool! I rated this place a 4/5 just because it’s definitely a “stay more than a day” type of place … especially if you want to get your $$$ worth. The bed also wasn’t the most comfortable but it’ll do the job. The host was amazing, responded fast & kept the place clean and stocked for those staying. Would definitely come back if I was on a 2-day trip and needed a place to stay with amazing views. Thank you!
This was a great relaxing space with everything you need to feel like you’re at home. It sits on a property that also has a 2 level house. There is a big yard and river seating which is perfect for fishing or just relaxation. Many different birds visit the property and a team of geese were there every morning! And a small fox visited the first night. So beautiful. The pool and hot tub are so nice as they oversee the Sacramento River. Plenty of pool chairs umbrellas and tables. So peaceful and relaxing. There was another couple staying in the house and we all took turns with the backyard/ pool area but also shared the space at times and they were very nice. Both the kitchen and restroom are fully stocked! We cook a lot so that was a nice touch. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfy and we can’t complain having a washer and dryer to use (byo detergent). The cottage really felt like a vacation home away from home. The owner was also very nice and helped us out when we locked ourselves
Great spot to meet my friend half way and have a very chill couple of days. The pool was fantastic because it was HOT!

On a regular road trip between SF and Portland, I was seeking a good night’s sleep and hopefully a swim workout. Rob’s place delivered on both counts. Very easy access off of I-5 and secure on-site parking behind a gate. The pool was ready and the bed was extremely comfortable! The yellow cottage offers a smart floor plan for running in/out to the back yard that fronts the Sacramento River. Kitchen was well equipped with tools and equipment. A great place to relax outdoors and listen to the birds at sunset.

We needed a place to stay for one night on our long road trip, this always a perfect little getaway away to get some good rest. We really enjoyed our night just wished we could have stayed longer!

Great place to stay, the house had enough room and comfy bed. Easy access off the I-5. Right next to the river, which made for some beautiful views. The hot tub was an added bonus. Host communication was great. Would recommend.
This little cottage is wonderful! It was perfect for me and my dogs (who also immensely enjoyed the stay). The river is beautiful and there’s lots of birds which I loved! I inadvertently locked myself out but was right back in thanks to Rob 😊 who is very kind! The bed is wonderful! I’ll definitely stay again!
Great little place to stay for the night. The hot tube was not very hot and the door was opened when I arrived. I think the place could use some simple items such as a bottle opener and can opener. Overall it was a great experience
I had a wonderful stay. I hope to use this place as my go to when I visit the area. It was very comfortable, safe,secure and great location. The grounds are beautiful and serene. Rob and his team were very helpful and communicated quickly. They even provided flexibility for check out. Great people and great place. I Highly recommend!
TLDR: The cottage was a charming place to stay for 2 people. We'd stay there again. We found the cottage as expected and questions were promptly responded to. The living room and kitchen area was spacious and comfortable. Bedroom was clean with a comfortable queen size bed and its own air conditioner. The in-unit washer/dryer was handy. Dog friendly for us was a priority and having a gated yard was a plus. The pool and hot tub were well maintained. The large lawn made sitting down by the river very pleasant and a great place for star gazing. Restaurants, Costco, National Parks were close. This was an ideal location for our day trips. We would stay here again.
Very pretty home nestled along the Sacramento River…was able to book on a last-minute emergency road trip to Oregon, and it worked out perfectly.
Had a great stay in the cottage. Looking forward to fishing off the dock again in the future. Thanks for being great hosts!
